The Woodward easYgen-3000XT Series is the current-generation digital genset control and protection platform for power generation, scaling from a single standby unit to complex multi-genset power management. It is the direct successor to the legacy easYgen-3000 series and is engineered as a drop-in hardware replacement, which makes it the standard target for Drake Controls genset control retrofits and upgrades. Four models cover back-panel and front-panel mounting on a shared firmware base.

Retrofit & Upgrade Path
The easYgen-3000XT is a drop-in replacement for the previous easYgen-3000 series. Drake Controls handles the upgrade from legacy easYgen-3200 to easYgen-3200XT and easYgen-3500-P1/P2 to easYgen-3500XT-P1/P2, including settings-file conversion with Woodward ToolKit and wiring-delta verification. Older Woodward genset platforms such as the GCP-2x/3x, EGCP-2, and easYgen-2000 also migrate to the 3000XT line.
