Description
This class will provide you the opportunity to learn more about the 505CC-2 Steam Turbine and Compressor Control. Ideal for those who need the understanding of how the 505CC-2 control operates in a compressor station. During the course both hardware and software configuration / monitoring will be explained.
CLASS OBJECTIVES
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Unterstand the Atlas hardware platform, inputs and outputs, and communications.
- Demonstrate a strong foundation on the 505 Steam Turbine control systems.
- Start Modes, Critical Speed Avoidance, Overspeed, PID’s, Cascade Control, Extraction / Admission Pressure Control, Ratio – Limiter Control
- Demonstrate a strong foundation on Compressor control systems.
- Compressor Basics, Surge, Compressor Applications.
- Understand and navigate the Human Machine Interface program.
